Ana Da Costa, MPH, is the Assistant Director of the American Society for Microbiology Global Public Health Programs, where she co-leads a diverse portfolio of laboratory strengthening projects around the world. She holds an MPH from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and is pursuing a Doctorate of Business Administration at the University of Maryland, Global Campus. She spent 10 years working in the international development sector, overseeing community-based projects in Africa, and 8 years managing a large global health research program at the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
