Zenda Berrada, Ph.D., PHM, D(ABMM), PHLD(ABB), M(ASCP)CM, has been a public health laboratory scientist for over 20 years, working at the federal, state and local levels. She found out about careers in public health microbiology while looking for work opportunities during her undergraduate studies and has never looked back. Berrada loves the diversity found in public health and is excited to share what the field has to offer with scientists at all levels. When she is not working, Berrada enjoys traveling whenever possible, being entertained by her 2 cats and dog and trying to finish reading her large list of "want-to-read" books.
